Looting deathboxes with controller is unfair
Us controller users are at a major disadvantage since we cannot strafe around while searching dead players loot boxes. This has gotten me killed TONS of times mid-battle since its practically suicid...

I could see this if the game was crossplay... But there is no crossplay.. You are choosing to have that disability, but at the same time you get the aim assist so why are you crying now ? I mean if its such a big deal then go back to keyboard and mouse then.. Oh wait ya because then you wouldn't have your aim assist right ? If you don't see where I am getting at then you must know its not fair that people using controllers get aim assist on pc, but you don't see me coming on here making a scene. OH WAIT I DID NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Yeah, controller on pc.
Im aware that i can probably use third party software to "emulate" a mouse and keyboard and thus unlocking strafing ability with the joystick... But that would make cursor movement and navigating menus far too clunky for a controller to be effective.
Also something like that may be picked up as a cheat program.

Based on your own words from your history the advantages a controller provides are not enough to warrant any sort of handicap. The autoaim is "non existent" to you.
So how about you explain that... Because your illogical behavior is why im doubting you.
You cant state in one forum that the auto-aim is not any issue and then clearly state here that it in fact is such an issue it must be balanced out by restrictions to player movement.
Seems like you just want to argue with people and will change stances just to argue.
Ok I have played apex on both console and pc so like the person complaining about the death boxes making you stand still I have played with that but I have also played with pc and actually did better with pc maybe because of me learning how to use my full hand having a aim advantage over console players now aim is not that big of a deal controller players needed it it’s not like you control your mouse with your damn thumb and have to constantly take your aiming hand or for controller players finger off all the fkn time so stop complaining you 2 year old and grow the * up

regardless, I agree slightly with the OP...
But instead of removing the feature, perhaps you should give the controllers the ability to move while looting...
but hey, I got bigger issues now, like... the game freezing everytime i get into a game...
