- @EA_David I don’t know how too feel about losing fast heal
Here are my thoughts on each individual legend change...
Lifeline:
I think she is finally in a good spot, but I do not see the reason to take away her fast heals. She has no escape abilities so her fast heals were one of the main things going for her. The drone being able to revive teammates is not a true passive, just like Crypto's.
Octane:
I absolutely love these changes and I think he will truly be the fastest now. The 40% speed will be crazy and I love the double jump on the jump pad.
Revenant:
The change to Revenant's totem will definitely be a big improvement, but I think for him to actually be taken seriously he needs a buff to his climb. It does not go high enough to allow Revenant to get to unreachable places like Pathfinder can. Anywhere Revenant can go, all the other legends can as long as they are smart with where they climb. I think his climb also needs to be faster (no slow at max height) because from the enemies' point of view, Revenant climbs incredibly slow and he is such an easy target. Revenant has no escape abilities, so his climb is his best bet to out-manuever the enemy, but it is too slow to be effective.
Crypto:
These changes just feel more like a quality of life improvement for him. I think he really needs some tweaks to his kit to bring up his pick rate. A big problem I have with him is that he has no passive. Being able to see people through walls with your drone is literally the purpose of the drone and is not at all a passive. Like I mentioned with Lifeline, she also lost her real passive now.
Loba:
This also just feels like a quality of life improvement for her and there is not a lot to say. I just think that she should be able to move normally while throwing her bracelet because you are just a sitting duck, which really isn't good.
Mirage:
Once again, just a quality of life improvement. I think the decoys of your whole team while skydiving is nice.
Gibraltar:
I don't really see the point of this because a 15% increase of heals really isn't noticeable.
Caustic:
I like this change because I do think he should have to put down the traps before other people are around, and not be able to throw them down and just continually camp.
Wattson:
I do not see the point in these changes for her. Yes, this is great for competitive because she is so strong, but she is already pointless in casuals and this just made her even worse.
I do really like that she can hold a stack of 2 ultimate exclelerants though.
Wraith:
I am actually for these changes. I agree that she shouldn't just get a "get out of jail free card." I like that it is more for scouting and moving between cover now. I honestly see this as more of a buff with now moving 30% faster as well as seeing people in the void. The portal distance placement is also a nice change.
Closing:
Overall I really like what you guys are doing with the legends. It is always nice to see meta changes. People are complaining too much about the Revenant and Wraith changes. They have been at the top since the start of the game, so it will be awesome to see other legends take the S tier for both competitive and casual.
- @zeroSkilledNoob Revenant isn't overpowered now. The way I see it, you can put your totem further away, which means by the time you run all the way back to the fight, the enemies will have already healed. I usually just put the totem down right around the corner from where the fight is so I can get right back in instantly.
- @EA_David everything is acceptable but man...... look at this zipline you guys are destroying the mechs of apex! turning this into a PUBG.... look what i'm saying... this game will die if you guys still destroying all the mechs that shows a player abilities.... BUT THIS IS ONLY MY OPINION .... zip is terrible and path's Q too
@KelRieverWhat do you mean? Her traps are less useful outside, since they can’t even block bullets, but inside they are much better. Position them right, and enemies won’t be able to shoot them.
Her pylons are pretty useful anywhere, but using them inside makes it harder to shoot, plus it also makes it much more difficult to flush you out of the building.Edit:
Even if you destroy the pylon, the Wattson can always just pop one accelerant to get it back.

Even with the bracelet change, she is definitely not a counter. When she teleports in, she has a long animation of putting on the bracelet, which makes her vulnerable. - @EA_David When is the update going live tonight?

Legend Changes:
-Lifeline getting her fast heal passive completely removed despite being essential to her role as an aggressive combat medic leaves her feeling more like the antithesis of what you designed your game around, AKA, fast paced combat. Everything about her kit slowed the pacing of a game, from waiting for the heal drone to fully heal you, or her ultimate landing, the fast heal passive plus the updated revive would've been a great start to cementing her identity as an aggressive high-utility combatant. The ultimate change is still not satisfactory, as even though the changes are helpful, not being able to influence the type of supplies you can call down is truly a great loss.
-Octane's changes are definitely a welcome boon to an otherwise linear easily killed character. The directional change is definitely a great way to insure his ultimate can be used more reliably to escape dangerous situations.
-Wraith: "Increasing Wraith’s tactical cooldown has proven to be ineffective at curbing her exceedingly high win rate and kill rate. " Water is wet. Have her take more damage in accordance to her smaller hit box size.
Weapons / Loot Changes:
-As long as I can change direction on the zipline when I see an enemy preparing to kill me on the other side, that's really all that matters.
-Havoc being nerfed is truly unfortunate.
- @EA_David Hi I appreciate your time and effort that the game designers have put I. But I don’t get it why are you nerfing pathfinder?? It’s so weird because wraith and Bangalore can escape easily but your making pathfinder worse?? He is pathfinder he’s meant to find a path to escape. Also why are your nerfing Wastton?? Her fences do literally nothing I understand about the pylons but in my opinion buff the fences. Thank you for reading this if you did
