@heme725 Wattson WAS average but now she's at a massive disadvantage because of that insane low profile nerf.
@AbyssloliPros and * (<-- you can't say c.o.n.s.?) of picking legends, except, some have no * (<-- you can't say c.o.n.s.?). It kind of makes sense for Wattson since to optimize her kit, your playstyle should be to avoid large open areas as much as possible (understanding you'll need to at some point, but try not to fight in them).
There's a reason why you'll see Wraith's running around anywhere creating portals to get her and her squadmates out of bad situations, because she's that much harder to hit than a running Wattson in the same situation. But likewise, you'll have a harder time trying to push a properly set up Wattson inside a building/small closed area.
@S8N_SpawnI get your point, every legend has its pros and c0ns, some have more pros than c0ns and vice versa.
Wattson however was not OP, she was slightly above average at best, this nerf now makes her not worth playing anymore.C0NS IN AN INSULT IN FRENCH NOW I UNDERSTAND
- @Abyssloli Wattson is arguably the fourth best character in the game. She is quite good. This nerf probably mitigates crouch spamming effectiveness on low profiles, as well as help mid and big bodies punish the top tiers more effectively, though it really hurts Lifeline and Wattson more (as usual) due to their lack of disengage.

Crouch spamming is a skill (not a difficult one but still a skill), by making it less effective you basically lower the game's skill ceiling and that is NEVER a good thing.
In my original post I tried to point out that it would feel so much better if Respawn decided to fix the balance by buffing trash legends instead of nerfing the better ones.
Mirage and Octane mains get to be happy cause they can finally do something, and Wraith/Lifeline/Pathfinder/Wattson mains don't feel like they get sh*t on every patch.
Look what they did to bloodhound to bring him back in the game, now they need to do the same to the other ones. But that would require more effort than just updating low profile legends :D @AbyssloliI def agree that low tier legends should get buffed, but the bloodhound buff didnt put him above the low profile top tiers, it put him right below them (partially due to the fact that he has a watermelon for a head). The tier list before this patch IMO was Pathfinder, Gibby, Wraith, Wattson, Bloodhound/Crypto, Bangalore/Lifeline, Caustic, Mirage, Octane, Revenant. I don't see this further low profile nerf causing a huge shift in those top four, as their skills are incredibly effective and fill every role e.g Path/Wraith for point disengage and mobility, Gibby for healing and protection, Wattson for locking down an area completely. Basically I think only Lifeline is gonna really be affected by this (In terms of viability, this obviously hurts Wattson in a 1v1 as well), as her kit was in direct competition with Gibby's already and wasn't good enough. Just how I see things playing out, but I could be wrong.
It’s official one of worst nerfs ever completely ruin 3 characters. Had to park my pathfinder cause he’s unplayable If I can’t find a replacement. I’ll just park this game. And all I play is pathfinder. So thank you apex.
@MrMuted but I'm pretty sure pathfinder has the thinnest hitbox when it comes to the leg area, which is what this nerf affects. He also takes huge strides when moving creating a huge gap between his legs.
Out of all the low profile legends it should be affecting him the least surely?
crouch spamming isnt a skill. you can buy a controller for an unfair advantage lmfao. wow so skillful. so good.
