Make All Legends Free
The game has reached a point where there are many legends to be unlocked, which I think does more bad than good to the game. Why locked legends are bad for the game (from a new player's perspective)...

@ArchAngeL-PCX Overwatch costed what? 50€ when It launched. If it had locked roster seeing how unbalanced the game was back then no way it could have survived to this day... Tbh I don't even know how it still is "alive".
Apex is F2P like lol, does lol have locked roster? Yes, but they rotate their characters every now and then to give people some time to try out new champs.
Apex could try out something similar. At least they could do something about the freaking legend tokens since having 500'000 Legend tokens that you have no way to use is stupid as *****.
Also 1 of the reason why the characters aren't free is so that players have some sort of goal, and that goal is to grind for those champions.
@KarvaRausku Overwatch didn't have to make them free. Other retail games lock heroes. But Overwatch has a balance they've crafted between the heroes. Locking heroes throws that off.
On the subject of money, Apex doesn't have any real room to brag with their high priced skins, collection events, battle passes, and everything else they've monetized.
Overwatch gives away a lot more loot boxes too, one per rank plus free boxes in the arcade and at least one per day in the queues. This includes when events are active.
Overwatch has added custom game lobbies, arcade modes, PvE co-op, and a variety of new and different ways to play. Overwatch 2 will greatly expand the PvE aspects with a campaign, more co-op, and hero skill trees.
Apex is not doing anything to expand the game beyond more ways to spend money on cosmetics.

It was basically copy of TF2 and new games was popping out that would have gotten their share of the gamers.
Paladins, Battleborn (which died because people cried it was copy of ow even tho only similarity was that they were fps), lawbreakers.
Dota 2 was purchasable game, but it went f2p AND it gives the heroes for free. One of the top dogs that makes apex and overwatch look tiny games.- @KarvaRausku I will add another good example of a purchasable game having characters you still need to buy: Rainbow Six: Siege. If you just buy the base game, you're missing out on a ton of operators.
- @jokool_aid What about a game like Warzone? That game doesnt have operators with abilities but the guns are all basic and you are at a severe disadvantage until you play to unlock and upgrade them. Or you have to buy them through blueprints.
