@W3stminst3r I'm pretty sure this is done intentionally. Your high skill is assigned a numerical value and the system is matching you with players well under average value to compensate and 'balance' out your team to meet the average. Games have been doing this bullsh for years. Overwatch did it and it made many matches unplayable because while the enemy 6 were relatively similar skill, your team were scrubs to compensate for your higher skill. If a good player was represented by a 1, then that match would become 6v3.5. This isn't an issue in 1v1 matchmaking, but in team focussed games this tanks the overall experience for one side. Your matchmaking experience is the norm for anybody above average. Players like you are not allowed to do well because you're given an arbitrary handicap.
I've seen people make new accounts and suddenly start noticing a ton of high level dive trails on their team, where on the old account it was regular trails. This is unfair to noobs and veterans alike and I don't think Respawn or EA give a single rat rump to fix it. This is intended design.
