Matchmaking.

Its the playstyle. People with such merits usually play hundreds of matches per day with hotdrop every match. They could get wiped 15 matches in a row right from the drop. Finally on their 148th match of the session they get the 20 bomb win game to post on youtube. You can see how it affects their MMR. I think only way to reset it is by quitting completely for extended period.

Yesterday I won my first ranked match of the day and afterwards I encountered nothing but sus opponents and no ranked sense teammates. After losing what I gained on the win + some more I called it a day. Today I have nothing but pred meat teammates. Split up midflight to get that hotdrop. Keep it up mate. Certainly one day you will be that next faide/aceu. - 500 LP today. Everyone complained how season 17 ranked was a joke of being too easy to get to masters. Now its nothing but grind for high rankers since there is still 60 days left of the season. 

Also Plat 4 is in the top 5% of all the ranked playerbase. With player numbers going down and down leaving only the sweats to grind so those will be your opponents (and 1h per day casuals like me as your teammates) for now. 

Personally I am in silver 1 and I think as soon as I finish the battlepass (maybe next week or so) I think I will take a month (or end of season) break from PvP to play some high quality single player story modes to restore my faith in humanity and reset the MMR. 



EDIT: I almost forgot. For one game I was teamed up with a guy who had insane badge/stat tracker numbers and I asked about his current rank. He was in bronze rank and those badges & stats were from his Xbox account. 

On a serious note, crossprogression was apparently one of the most asked & requested things but now that its here no-one seems to be happy? LOL

There simply aren't any people. All the gold chickens can do is drop their weapons and just run around. this game is over
