@Bestburrito4uI’m still undecided on it and need more time to play with it. It’s a big change and I see some positives and some negatives to it.
I need more time to see if I can adjust my game play and loot system to fit the new inventory system.
My only major complaint is not being able to stock pile excessive nades.
I have not had issues with ammo (yet). What I do like.. the increased inventory right off the bat makes it slightly easier to do a few things. 1. Is carry hop ups/attachments for guns I want.
2 i also feel slightly more comfortable looting early game. I’m not having to search for a back pack immediately. So I can sort of wonder a bit more until I find one.
Somethings I have been trying, as I pile up med kits and batteries I dump the cells/syringes.
We shall see how it plays out, but I’d really like more time in the game with it and more experiences. But I definitely agree with your points.
Didn't really care for it myself. Fortnite did something similar with heals in Season 5 I think. The reason being for them was people who streamed would spend most of the game holed up with mini's(1/4 shields) in their inventory and pencil in hand(edit for build mode). With the reduction in heals it forced you to choose heals or other items. Also with a cap it forced you to play the game in a more aggressive style. It worked for the most part game became less camp fests and more strategy and positioning.
I am sure respawn is doing the same thing here. Bringing people into fights and forcing them into finishing them quicker.
I didn't like the back pack change. Especially considering there are no in game update notes so first game in it was weird to pick up 6 bandages and 2 slots in my backpack were taken up. The grenade limitation on just 1 per slot is stupid in my opinion. Fine no grenade spamming, just will make it harder to deal with a camping caustic. I know because last night I got my second win of the night camping as Caustic in geyser. No one could push in because there were only 2 doors in circle and they sat outside peek shooting windows. Ordinarily I would have been naded to death.(Which was fine in my opinion.) I don't like dying, but in the case of my game last night I should have been easily flushed out by the last squad since I was solo for most of the game I just camped it out to see how far I could get. I am sure my opponent squad at the end game was cursing the lack of stacking nades. They had a few at the beginning, but ran out quickly, which will lead to more camping of sorts in the future in my opinion.
Like everything else with the game it is their choice to change things as they see fit.
