Mirage Event Discussion Thread

I appreciate how the challenge for the badge was made. It really makes for an enjoyable time. Nothing like completing it in a timely manner when everyone loves playing last man standing. How do you come up with such innovation? Tell me the secret.

@Koochi-Q I'm just happy that the 75 captures are done with. Now I won't have to worry about it being incomplete and can go back to playing standard mode.

This is a very cynic and sarcastic response...

That I just can’t disagree with. 

The more I play it the more I love it. Up at about 30 now.

Few small things I've noticed :

When traveling inside train carriage and going in and out of sights, the sight picture can change to a different part of the map. Happens mainly in tunnels.

If Mirage lets off a decoy on top of the train edge while train is moving, decoy seems to remain stationary while running motion ie to not go faster than the train speed.

Have seen 2 Caustics on same team a few times, champions screen and in match.

The odd time I'm able to flick through opposing team to see where they are on train when I'm dead awaiting respawn.

Ttv people like to play particular skins and demob if they dont get their choice. 😛

Speak for yourself. This by far my favorite event. I’ll miss it when it’s gone.

The 75 win Badge for the LTM is a little buggy. I noticed it when I was at 73/75 wins. Got a win and it was still 73/75. I eventually raged quit because I got bad players and we were going to lose. It became 74/75.

I get the last win at 74/75. It doesn't count.

I needed to win another match. It counted this time but I also put my Tier 2 badge on from the LTM just encase I needed it or something. 

Anyway, I do think it was worth grinding the wins out. You had 2-3 weeks to get 75 wins which was far and they counted from the start unlike the Halloween event that wanted you to win 25 times and it didn't count previous wins. 

I got the 75 train capture badge last night. The Winter Express reminded me how much I missed a point-capture mode. In the Titanfall 2 series I would play CTF or Marked For Death and so other modes to mix it up, and I think having an event that is another style of play is a GREAT idea.

Getting those 75 captures took some work. You get stuck with people who have no clue how to attack strategically, but them's the breaks.

The Mirage Voyage is awesome, and for as long as World's Edge is around, PLEASE LET THE PARTY BOAT STAY!!!
