Mixtape death replays seem different than what happened

I've noticed in two of my tdm deaths tonight the death replay shows something different from what I know happened.  For instance, I was going 1 on 1 against a wraith and we both emptied a whole clip into each other at the same time, but she downed me before I could her.  In the replay it doesn't show me as shooting, but just standing there still while she emptied the clip.

I was against a rampart later in the same match that I also shot at while she was doing one of those fake flipping moves they use those cheat boxes for, and yet the death replay showed her standing still not moving at all and just aiming straight at me with me not shooting. (I fired on her several times while she did the illegal movement)

I'm on the switch version so I'm wondering if this could be caused by some issue with the switch?  I'm wondering about this with some other things happening the last 2 seasons, but I hadn't noticed problems with the death replays until tonight.  Anyone know what could cause this?
