Most DMG but can not secure kills....what
I have the most dmg in most games compared to my teammates but i cant secure kills? What's going on please help...

Damage is the easy part. Downs are only easy with very coordinated teamwork. Kills are like unicorns. Anyone who experiences easy kills in this game is either part of a diamond three stack, a cheater, or a hot dropper who kills a guy that doesn't even have a gun yet, then dies in retribution in 18th place, then quits and requeues and does it all over again. I'm convinced this the methodology for most of the players I see with tens of thousands of kills on their banner. Not all, but most. - @needYaded I go through runs like this where I can't get a kill to save my life. It is far more common when you solo queue with randoms. Lack of coordination turns a lot of 3v3s into three 1v1s.

I don't know how self overestimating some people are and always believe they can attack 3 people alone, then die.
See it nearly in every match.
But much better are those guys who start a fight, and then just run away. I often see my teammates start a fight, 10 sec later, I am the only one at the front, and they 50m away.
They all fear to die, I mean you can smell their fear, those chickens...
- @needYaded It's a team-based game. I for awhile use to get bothered by my teammates kill stealing me. Then i thought back hey we won the fight so i still get a little annoyed but i just chalk it up as a team game.

Are you using WINGMAN by any chance ? 😃 Experience the same thing with a lot of team mates just initiate the fights and then me as solo player obviously joins in but then out of nowhere they back of and you stand there all alone. They most times then start to blame and shame you for dying in a situation they left you at, with the only outcome to die. If you instead don't initiate they either back of get angry you didn't engage or they all die and the abuse begin in offensive language and spam pinging the banner button. Since EA/RESPAWN don't take action on these matters it will forever exists and be a huge problem in this cursed game.
- @drevinum9 Most of the time you either get the random who charges headlong into a 1v3 and immediately dies or the random that picks a fight that gets you killed and then runs off.
It's probably the guns you're using, if your teammates are running smgs and shotguns and your using mid or long range weapons they're more highly likely to secure the final hit and get the kill
Don't feel bad, it is tough for a legit player to kill anyone in this game at all, as someone else said. I've been playing 3 months and have only gotten one kill in br mode and one kill in death match. This is the hardest game to play I've seen so far, thr mechanics are tough to master and the aim isn't that accurate. What got my damage numbers higher, in addition to long hours of grinding, was doing firing range exercises each day, I found some good ones the pros posted online.
I still can't get kills or survive that long, but my aim and movement skills are getting good and I can get up to 150 damage at times. Even though that's not a kill, I can see I'm improving, and I think that's what you have to do. I think this isn't a game you play to get kills or even win since it is rare that you can, it's more the thrill of the chase and feeling of improvement that I think makes it worthwhile.
- @AymCTL Apex is definitely one of the most difficult multiplayer FPS out there. To get kills you have to realize that one clipping people is very difficult without purple/gold mags and really good aim. You need to work as a team and plan for having to reload or switch weapons before you can knock anyone in a 1v1, all the while being able to move where you get hit less than you land your shots. Team play, defensive movement, planning, aim, & weapons loadout all contribute.
Watch some of the best streamers and pros. In 1v1's, they are able to get shots in quickly while avoid being shot & then switch to their secondary quickly. They rarely get caught by surprise or with one of their guns not fully loaded either.
