My buddy keeps getting Error code since the update?

Lots of people are having this issue since the update.

For me it was DAEMON tools lite i had to remove it now it works fine

Yor friend needs to check what other applications they have that might be interfering with the EA anti cheat software.

If they have Daemon Tools installed it would be best right now to remove it as horvathkevin2007 mentioned. 

This is an issue that is being looked into by EA. 

DAEMON tools lite     he doesn’t even know what that is and neither do I he’s never installed it or heard of it so how would he go about uninstalling something he’s never installed?

There are also other programs that can be the source of the problem. I do not have a list.

What program could it be because it worked fine before the update? The recent update is what messed it up. We’ve never had a problem playing before.?

If I knew the answer to that I would tell you.

Did your friend recently install other apps? If yes maybe try de-installing them as a process of elimination.

BTW what DX version are they running? If DX11 that may be the problem as it is no longer supported. They would need to run DX12 and if they cannot then they will not be able to play Apex.
