My issue with the game; sandwich

There are 2 things to avoid this from happening to you going forward. 

1) First and foremost, it falls on you and where you are positioned. Play the border of the circle. By doing that, you eliminate and entire side that you likely won't be attacked from. And if you do get attacked from outside the ring/zone, you have the upper hand as they take DoT. If you have a Pathfinder that does his job, he should have hacked some satellites for you. You can get a head start on the next circle that way. 

2) I mentioned Pathfinder earlier and there are other legends with escape perks but when i get in a fire fight, I will almost always place a zipline and announce to my team I placed the zipline to escape is necessary. 

The bottom line is that it depends on your positioning. Gun shots are heard cities away on this map so its very likely when you are in 1 fire fight, you are attracting thirsty teams to your location. don't get too caught up looting, kill your foe and move on. 

you can also adjust your playstyle to run to where you hear gunshots. If you think about it, vulturing is very rewarding. when one team wipes another team, 9/10 times they immediately go for looting and completely ignore the world around them. I've caught enemies in the middle of Finishing moves several times because they got too cocky. I've caught whole teams looting 1-2 loot crates from dead enemies. It sucks because I like to play Pathfinder and like to play as an Overwatch (military term, not blizzard game) for my team. It tends to hurt me as I dont get the loot but at least my team isnt being ran up on while they loot.
