Neo strafe on controller is bannable ?

Hello ! I would just like to know if modifying the buttons on the controller via steam for neo strafing was banable, I would like to specify that it is only for Neo strafe and nothing else.

I would also like to know if you can neo strafe without steam config on controller ^^

(i play on Xbox with a elite series 2 controller)

@Suzuyyaa2Just changing what button does what shouldn't be inherently bannable because you still have to push a button to perform the action. The issue is, from my understanding neo strafing isn't one button like you suggest. It's a combination of buttons. If you are making an automatic one button performs multiple button presses then yes that is bannable.

@Suzuyyaa2 If you're making a macro, no matter how simple, it should be something you get banned for.

If you can't do it without a config, you shouldn't be able to do it in game.
