Currently, for me it is impossible to abuse that even if I would like to, because I still can't figure out the new logics behind charging either.
Currently, I have the following scenarios:
- rampage stops charging if I move when charging animation has started, yet it can be done if you jump slide and then start a charging process
- rampage sometimes charges only as long as I hold the key bound to charge, sometimes I just need to tap it once and it goes all the way automatically
- same as above for sentinel
- sentinel starts to charge up every time I pick it up while holding needed cells, now I have to cancel charging every time I do so, yet very useful during a battle - easy and fast weapon switch and totally unexpected to enemies who think you are running away yet do 180 and blow their heads off seconds later :D
- no clue when animation for either ends, I just hold key bind every time for 1-3 seconds longer, also it feels that animation for rampage is faster overall and ends almost in synch with the progress bar while sentinel takes much longer and there are additional minor animations after the initial one for sentinel
In any case both rock when charged 🙂
* this has been another rant how well Apex game is being designed and updated, maybe some new bugs later today, I hear patch will be out :D
