@BigMacAttack8uI don't really see why they don't just add a mode to the current apex but I'm guessing it would have something to do with how the legends are mostly built for team modes.
As for what I'd like to see..well it's apex so I do expect to see some if not all of their current legends just reworked to be better used in a single player format as well as the guns and maps...but what I would like especially in the sense of weaponry is something more original even though I do love the alternator.
I like apexs current movement mechanics and think they should be implemented, I really don't see a big need to add more to it.
Obviously separate lobbies for pc, controller, and console players so we don't continue to have the "AA" argument. As well as a relatively balanced MM.
I don't want smurfs to continue to be a thing, but chances are they won't care enough to remove them.
I would also like the scanning abilities to be removed and implemented into the game as a pick upable consumable item, or an item with some kind of cool down because
1. I wouldn't want there to be a scan meta
2. Scan type legends might be harder to play if they don't have much to aid them in a single player fight.
3. I don't believe the ability to scan for players should be limited to a character, I think it should be something players should be able to come across in game either getting lucky enough to find, maybe as a vault item or care package drop, or buy killing someone that had it.
IF a scan item was to be implemented it should be limited to a heart beat sensor which would only last for a few seconds and have a cool down period, or like the recon drone/motion censor in cod where it is consumed upon use.
In a single player setting there is less need of support legends so I think legends should have some kind of support passive. Maybe like a small portion of health or shield regen when another player is killed so you're not completely defenseless after a fight when you get third partied.
I'd also like to see better variety of loot out side of hot drops. Yes I get that people like to hot drop and high risk high reward, but this also feels like a punishment to those that don't have an aggressive playstyle. Choosing to play to your strength should not mean choosing to find less decent loot.
I'd add smoke and flash grenades because I don't see the harm in having them as an option and they're logical items to find in a battle setting.
