New battle royale map "Tropics" (Season 11)

The new map will be called Tropics and currently has the code name of "Tropical Island" in the files. Garrett thinks that this map will be set in Gaea where Caustic and Crypto came from. This map was already leaked before the start of season 7 with other modes/maps being tested. As we all know that all new maps or huge changes to apex happens in an odd numbered season (well maybe except S5) while minor updates like map changes plus a new gun (S10) happens in even numbered seasons, it's safe to assume that we can see this map on season 11.
So that's old news. What's new is that Garret saw that this new map will have Tridents in it like Olympus. If you compare the old tridents with this one, they're really dirty looking with mud splattered on its sides. The new tridents is in a separate folder from olympus in the files.
Another thing that is added in the files were "alien plants". Garret said that this tells the game what sounds it should play when that object is impacted/hit.
The next set of comics also have jungle background sound effects.
