On Xbox the X button does a zillion thigs so if you are tryig to reload near a door or random crap(death box random ammo weapon pieces) you wont reload you pic up the crap. Also, the out or ammo weapon switch is not helpful if it auto switches the emty weapon but you realize and hit the Y button to manualy switch at about the same time it switches you back to the gun with no bullets. Remove this feature it is to nice let people switch guns without help.
you can customize your controller under your controller settings. Just don't swap out Y [Triangle on ps4]
@RevenanT-G7 You can't remove the action keybind from the reload one on console though can you? Coulda swore its stuck double bound.
They the Y button will just function like X button. The problem is that reload button is the pic up and open door button no way to change they grouped together.
I don't remember I just know you can't swap Triangle or Y because sometimes it registers sometimes it doesnt.
I haven't done it since season one so I don't know if they allowed us to bind all the kieys or not.
@RevenanT-G7 hmmmmm, i'm gonna play around with it later then, the amount of of times I've been screwed over by this mid fight cause I've tried to reload near a deathbox and its opened the damn thing instead lol.
I had a crypto get knocked in front of me first game tonight and he came up in my corner to get rezed and I couldnt reload any of my weapons.
I use button puncher and would love for the pick up be for it to be circle not Square. I wouldnt be able to adapt for a while if I change my whole setup now. so use to square being reload. and circle feel more comfortable for me for team pick ups
@RevenanT-G7 Yeaaah i've got circle as my melee, combo'ing it with action would feel more natural for me. Reloading is just too pivotal a function to double up with an action button lol.
