I've just seen a few wins on youtube because the enemies were caught outside the ring, and some players getting kills a long time after barely scratching their enemies armor and then running away to the next circle. It really sucks, it's like winning a tennis game on an outside court while leading 2-1 because a storm came and you had to stop. You should win because of your aim, tactics, skills, not because the enemy made a mistake and stepped outside the ring for a few moments.

It's a BR. You sound like you want to be playing a TDM. The ring has to have an impact, and timing is also a skill. Your aim only gets you so far.
Learn to adapt and how to use it to your advantage. Don't watch streamers complain and then regurgitate it on here.

@Silz616 maybe, but Apex is more like a mix of TDM and BR, that what i liked about it so much. I certainly not going to abandon Apex, it's still my favourite, and I play it because it pushes me to get better skills, I don't really care about battle pass, ranks, skins.
FYI though, those streamers were not complaining, but I felt their disappointment in not getting those kills entirely through their own mastery.

Moral of the story: Watch the ring and time before even join the fight.
Before SS2: Nobody cares about ring time at all, it's utterly harmless, they can fight outside the ring, safely loot, and literally just walk into the ring without any risk
The ring is far and your squad join the fight with 3 other teams, died due to the cicrle dmg and complained. It does not make sense to me, circle dmg is not bad, ur team decision maker is bad, very bad. Dont expect any medkit or even syringe left after a fight with 3 teams.
I like it now. People actually care and do timing, which is good. Ring need to be scary in BR game.

The assumption level is quite high here.
