New cosmetic - selection backgrounds, squad poses
Hey guys, how cool would it be if we could customize our legends with the following:
1. Selection backgrounds: when selecting your legend, rather than just have a colorful fog behind your character you could have some sort of kickass 3D background? You could even display the character in a completely 3D environment, and have the camera pan around them (think the scene from Gladiator where the main character is on the battle grounds...). For Wraith you could have her in the rift space, surrounded by floating debris. For Bangalore you could have her aboard a broken ship departing orbit or taking cover while on a battle field. For Octane you could have him jumping over some stuff kinda like in a monster truck show. Pathfinder could be doing some cool workout, or could do something funny and totally pathfinder-like. Like gifting someone a grenade that then explodes in their face, or something. All legends have some sort of cool thing that they could be doing! This would let people connect to their legends even better. These backgrounds could be not only a great way to express yourself as a player, but they could also sneak in character story background about the characters!
2. Squad poses: once you've selected all 3 characters, instead of just seeing 3 "cards" next to each other, we could have an actual 3D scene with the characters doing something cool together, high-fiving, etc. Just think about what's shown on the loading screen. We could have Wattson sitting on Gibraltar's shoulders, Wraith appearing into the group from within a portal, Octane running incircles around the rest, Bloodhound playing with Lifeline's DOC drone like it's a pet, etc. Wouldn't that be cool? I would love that. It would give the legends so much character!!
