New Event Mode

Has anyone else run into problems with this mode? The e-District respawn LTM? I loved it when it first came out but it's been unplayable for some time. It seems stacked with top tier players wanti...

I am not here to sell people on the game.

I find that the beginning of a season 1st week and the last week of a season the MM is horrid and spend limited time myself during those periods in game.

The LTM's also get riddled with poor MM, try-hards and cheaters IMHO so I stay away from them for the most part and play Pubs Duos or Trios. Especially when a new LTM drops it seems that, at least to me that the Pubs lobbies are more fairly balanced. Solo LTM was horrendous with this, I played a few matches and dropped the mode like a bad habit (I was happier with that and the normal BR pub matches were way better).

I only game about 10 hours a week, about 6-8 Apex and the rest something else usually not an FPS game.

I am also not a master or Pred level player so maybe my lobbies are a bit more relaxed in general. No always because I have sometimes been matched with/against players that have 20+k kills on one legend alone to include the newer legends. Do not know why this happens but I think it should never happen to me.

My kill count and K/D are not the best but I do rock a solid 6-10% win rate each season so that could be a factor, I play to win not kill, the kills will come either way if you play to win, if you play to kill you will usually lose the match and second place is just first loser.

I would just take a short break if I was not having fun do something else and then come back and try again. It is IMHO one of the best FPS games ever made and currently the best FPS game out right now.

@Asmodeus566Yeah, not just there. Dropped in with my brother just now for a bit. Usually we play for an hour - 90 mins. We didn't last longer than 15 mins (regular duos/trios) before we just quit. Smashed over and over.

I have noticed this as a theme. As the season comes to a close I suspect less casual players like me bother and the lobbies are all full of the hard core sweats. Just makes the game unplayable so I don't. Sucks, and contributes to the player drop but I'm not sure what to do about it. If the lobbies are like that I'll just quit. I won't stick around to be a KD pill. Not sure what the solution is.

I mean; a game is supposed to be fun and this ain't it. Rather than just getting angry/frustrated like I used to I just quit and play something else now. Not healthy for the game at all as I *want* to play but it's just pointless as I know I'm just going to get steamrolled every single encounter. I've been playing since before season 1 and I've *finally* learned to just not bother. It's sad but I don't know what to do. Sell it to me why I should bother? I can't see a reason.

  In essence it sounds like you have the same take away I do. I think the MM can only work with what's in front of it and if the pool is unbalanced that is what you will experience. Beginning/end of season... I have had the same observations.
  I'll probably be on a bit tonight with the usual squad to see how it goes. Have not been on for awhile now.
  I've really gotten into Elder Scrolls online and am enjoying that so that's my fall to game if Apex isn't giving me games with playing. I'll give it a go but my patience is much less than it used to be.
