Negative movement manipulation abilities often cause frustration with the community, caustic alone with the slow on his gas traps caused an entire uproar even though I’d argue he wasn’t even that oppressive. So, I can’t say if freezing players will be received positively.
However, I have heard of a freeze grenade being in the works once. Can’t say if it is scrapped, it was leaked a long time ago.
The ice slide effect sounds cool though, although sliding basically means players accelerate more and have more trouble de-accelerating. And apex is a very fast paced jump and move in every direction game, so again, it would primarily negatively impact enemy movement.
I like the slide idea, perhaps this legend has a snow blower that he can use to paint the battlefield with sliding ice. Or painting ice in front of him, making him slide forward. But I’m not sure if it would create many fun or creative strategies, unless I’m missing something.

I understand where you come from. The blizzard would be more like life lines tactical while slowing all players. And the sliding on ice I could see making people rage quit. It is flawed a lot and I realize how much is really a bad idea in a fast paced game but the blizzard original idea was to slow the enemy down to a shootable point plus with legends such as pathfinder and octane it's very counter able and escape able. Bit either way it was pretty unfinished do to the fact of ea going to want to make other things in it and I left pretty open for that.
And the slide was more for support in evading the storm and enemy camping making it harder to shoot and fight to the point you would want to stay away promoting more sniper use. Do to the fact the sniper are often overlooked every time I have played. Helping player learn more about leading shots and predictions of player movements. But as I have said he is unfinished and ment to help In evasion. So he would be probably a skirmisher
I like the idea of it being like maybe a leaf blow that shoots snow or ice. It's a nice idea and I thank you for yous input
So to sum up the blizzard is a healing cloud of snow that slow all players (including team of frostbite and frostbite himself) the ice blower/slide is for evasion and to promote more sniper usage and to help with teaching to lead shots and to not push alone (wraith portal is a good example too.)
