I’ve played the game since it came out and have thousands of hours and have paid attention to how the game has felt through the different phases. Right now it’s pretty bad with SBMM you can see in feedback other players have commented on how bad it feels right now. I’ve noticed a couple things throughout the years. What time you get on and play has a big impact of how sweaty it feels. If you play during morning or day it’s usually pretty reasonable. If you play at night (6-10) it’s pretty sweaty but more hit or miss. Lately even if I get on at 9 it feels super sweaty. 11pm on it gets really bad. It’s usually when the people like me who have no life and are on a dysfunctional sleep schedule play because I work nights. Usually the people who are good don’t get burnt out and can play longer into the night which means all the players who are recreational or not as serious get exhausted of playing because they can’t get past the first circle and they just give up and get off. I honestly feel although it’s random the day of the week is noticeably deferent. It’s never been consistent but I usually have good luck on Saturday nights because a lot of the good players go socialize and like to go out on Saturday nights. It can also be the opposite where good players might’ve gone out Friday and want to lock in Saturday night. Mondays lately have been not fun for me and I don’t know why. I seriously think the SBMM is seriously all out of whack since this last update and it needs to be fixed. They have a tab somewhere on her that the topic is how ranked works. I was hoping it would go into detail on how their skill based matchmaking works so I could understand it but of course it’s just how ranking placement and all the information that is already available in game. In my opinion it’s going to suck for a bit until they make changes unfortunately. You can voice your opinion all you want but until an overwhelming amount of people express dissatisfaction they will ignore your insight. That’s just my experience. I really don’t think they care that much about what their everyday players think at least that’s my take. Hang in there my dude this game a majority of the time is anguish.
