How a report can fix anti-cheat?
If you report cheats there is more chance they will be banned. It will help the anti-cheat effort. 🙂
Oh that's how anti-cheat works. Anti-cheat tries to find a cheater, then you report cheater's nickname. Bam, anti-cheat finds him. Good job anti-cheat! Pretty advanced technologies here.

There's a reason there's a reporting system, but soon the anti cheat will no doubt be better. The devs are using the forums and peoples opinions as a guide to the future right now, as stated in Live Balance Update live on all platforms - let's talk about meta
There's no doubt that they're working on cheaters right now due to the huge issue at hand. Be patient, as just because this game is "fully released" it's still brand new, so there's still testing going on with many issues. The game has only been out for a month now, and because of how big it is I'm sure that these companies will do whatever it takes to remove the issue and provide better gameplay for all of us.
