No audio is unacceptable.
The amount of times I die due to summon i see sprinting at me when i turn around that i didnt hear at all is insane. fix it please

Actually, the audio isn't screwed, it just might be screwed for some users.
To me, the audio in Apex is exceptional. I can hear positional sound from the direction it is in the game world. Compare this to games like PUBG where there was no positional information and sound quality was disgustingly horrendous to Battlefield V, where positional sound was problematic (and footsteps were silent), but the quality of the sound effects was unreal.
Sadly, audio hardware (soundcards) and drivers and OS and physical hardware (and user) can all play a role in whether you hear what's intended.
@Aegis_Kleais That might be from a PC perspective but I play on console.
And throughout the updates over the year have always noticed issues. And while after some patches it has worked for a little bit it is now bad again.
@ColdHours I think you're right about it being a console issue, and if its an issue at hardware level we're basically screwed lol.
That being said...early apex never had these audio bugs so it can't be surely? I don't know...i just know it's damn annoying.
