No masters yet in ALL consoles

As of apex legends status, there are still no masters in all of the console platforms which means that all of the slots for the preds isn't filled up yet. Rank has been very unpopular this season.

Number of preds for each platform:

642 on Playstation

190 on Xbox

49 on Switch

1206 on PC (w/ masters)

The masters you see in this chart is just PC players.

I have come with more stats after digging through apexstatus and steam charts.
”Good news!” There are now 4 masters players in playstation with only 16 days left to this split.
On to the steam charts stats. While apex has hit its maximum concurrent players at the start of season 13 with 411k players, now it’s on its lowest daily players of 235k players. That’s a 57% drop of player numbers. This is the lowest number of steam players since March of 2021 (season 8). Yes this data does not cover all of the platforms but I think this is enough of a sample size that we can also infer the decline of the player numbers in other platforms. I’m still level 28 on the battle pass and the collection event is just 2 weeks away.

What a surprise? From what I hear about auto aim around here you'd think only Console players would be in masters.

I would hope that the Devs now realize that they should have hired a mathematician before making these drastic changes to scoring in ranked.
I am curious to know how many people actually go positive once you get up into the Plat and Diamond ranks. My guess is that it would only be around 20%.

@IAmTheMeddler I think your 20% is probably right. So only 20% of the lobby leaves a match happy. Doesn't seem like the best idea for retention.

Just realized that the split is ending in a few weeks and everyone will be demoted again. LOL.

Idk about PS but on XSX the bugs are just crazy. Especially the audio too much echo and sometimes just non existent foot steps. Also there's issues with comms such as mics not even working in the game. Then certain legend bugs that just aren't tended to. yada, yada, yada. People stop caring when devs stop caring.

Numbers for ranked have already reduced. But I think the big dip in playerbase is going to happen once that split demotion kicks in; it’s going to leave a lot of people feeling demoralized.

I simply can’t imagine Respawn leaving things as is. Nothing is more important to their business model than retention and player satisfaction. They will change things when they see the data (hopefully).

@Cheese9Man Yeah, and are they going to fix the 2.5 tier demotion or basically 90% of ranked players are going to play together? Since Gold and Rookie players can be in the same lobby (GG Respawn!) 🙂🙂.

@Cro_Pittt the 2.5 tier demotion only happened at the start of this season due to various factors. Going forward it should be the standard 1.5 however since there are so few high ranked players 90% of the players are going to be Gold or lower after the split either way.
