@Cheese9Man same, its annoying as hell. They play either music or the news. Most of the time the audio quality is bad anyway, so I do not understand anything.
I have a simple rule: I leave mic voices on, but as soon as I hear the news or other annoying noises, I mute the squad. Sorry not sorry.

OP is so wrong, no mics do not ruin ranked.
Im not saying the can’t help, but you can win games fine with the ping system. And mics or no mics, your team mates would have to bother to care to respond.
This is another blame team mates for loss thread in poor disguise. If you want to blame the mics go ahead. But it won’t make you play better or address other real problems like the scoring system.
If it infuriates you so much, Respawn is going to tell you to queue up with a team of 3. It’s a dumb response to a game that is bad at encouraging team play but that’s the answer.
Or, as you mentioned, try those other games. They’re not terrible
