Is it just me or the L-Star is more viable and more fun to play now compared to last season? I don't know how to explain it but it feels good to use now. Maybe because of the barrel stab? I only used the L-Star in the first round of arenas before. As much as Seer is a bit OP and some of the legends need buffing, Respawn got the guns right this time.
The volt is better with mods, but the LStar wins out of the gate.
@KelRiever if you can find more than the 20 ammo nearby.
I still wouldn't use it late game, but its much better for me personally at early/mid game now. I've stopped dropping it for a p20 or mozam so that's gotta be progress surely? 😛
@Cheese9ManI used it a lot in Arenas last season, got bored of it honestly idk why. It had the best hipfire in game, which did get a nerf. And the barrel stabilizer wasn't needed at all imo, it was pretty easy to control even at range. VFX change was more than welcome.
They should have given barrel stabilizer to Havoc instead which has so much more recoil
I never carry energy weapons in BR, two guns require gold hop-up that is very hard to find or energy ammo which you will find yourself running out of pretty quick or find 700 in one deathbox.

But I find usually people aren’t picking up the energy ammo anymore at the beginning.
