Nobody wants to admit that they don’t know how player distribution works!

I’ve been searching for 30 minutes on how to read the graph of player distribution on trios there’s zero information on it. Like hello how do you read it because I’m max prestige and get nothing but level 1 players. Pretty sure it’s because I’m black

  • The graph is just a placebo for you to think something has changed, in fact the matchmaking is as bad as the last seasons

  • It is either a placebo or just further proves how bad the matchmaking is.  My lobbies are consistently in the top half of the distribution and my team in the top half of the lobby, but we get obliterated repeatedly and the distribution never changes.

    I read it as

The big cure is the distribution of all players.

The gray band is the range of skills in your lobby

The red line is where your team sits in that lobby.

the big curve doesnt reflect the distribution of all players, you can easily see that with the rank distribution on tracker websites.
its just an "indicator" for the player to roughly estimate how hard this match might be.
They could have also removed that stupid bell curve and used shades of colors between green and red to accomplish the same or just 3 sectors : low, mid, high.
If the curve would reflect the real general Distribution a player could determine what the hidden MMR looks like, thats why its a static curve ...
