Yeah, every match is nothing but cheaters running around one shotting everybody. About 75% of every mixtape lobby is cheaters, and that probably holds true for br too since I get one shotted first enemy I meet in every match. Only kills I've gotten for this new season are from blind siding a cheater while they are one shotting multiple enemies and distracted.
My question is why are they catering to these cheaters for? Is this really the demographic that spends the most? They make it where shots don't even count for legit players that spent thousands of hours honing their skills so that players with no skill can kill anyone instantly in under 3 shots. This is ridiculous.
They banned that config cheat that allows tap and neo strafing for one day and these so called pros whine like babies that they are leaving apex for fortnite or other games if they don't allow it again. One said that program allows for 1000 inputs per second. It was fun that day watching these people die much faster than me because I realized I have much more skills than they do since they can't survive without mods.
I wish they would stop this cheater meta and put the game back to what it was. If the cheaters quit so what? Get the old players back that left through a promotion by putting the game back to what it used to be and banning all of the cheaters. They whine on the net let them whine, tell them to go to Fortnite and see if they will put up with their 1000 inputs per second and one shotting every enemy they see. I guarantee they won't last 3 days at Fortnite. Then they can come back here to Apex and learn some skills in the firing range through honest hard work like I had to.
The lurching in this game really needs to get under control. To give Respawn some credit, they have tried a couple of times now, but they caved to the whiny few. Like regular players probably cried a bit too, but they would get over it quickly, because realistically they weren't really using it to begin with.
The reason why I think so many people are cheating, is that they have ZERO movement penalties when shooting at people. They can be doing any action, and still have 100% accuracy. I don't buy that the average player is capable of doing that. Another thing is that I play really carefully, and try to be stealthy at times, but these guys always have this sense like they know I'm near. I bet they have the cheat where it lets them know a player is near. I also get targeted a lot in gunfights, like they know they need to knock me first in order to win the fight. They'll completely ignore my teammates, which are often poorly positioned and not in cover, yet they just keep beaming me while I peek from behind cover, in between the tiniest of gaps.
I think the reason they can't, or won't, get the cheats in order, is because it's a calculated risk. We'll lose X amount of players if we ban more aggressively, which they are spending money, or we can keep legit players, yet they're spending less. The perception of us banning people is good enough basically, at least to the point that people who are going to spend still feel comfortable spending money on the game. That was clunky, but you catch my drift.
