Official Apex tracker-Idea.

So yeah the name says it all.

I'm aware that there is already trackers in place currently, but lets face it they're limited as to the data their actually able to collate so they aint the most accurate.

I think apex should create an official tracker section on their website, allowing players to search for other players stats by each of the seasons or by lifetime statistics. Also a world/regional set of rankings would be pretty cool. I would add that players be given the choice to opt out of making their statistics private or viewable only by friends also.

Could potentially make LFG scenarios a lot easier too as you would be able to reach out to players of a similar skill level.

Hell if they implemented this as a separate companion style app they would be able to charge a small fee for a "premium subscription" to it offering exclusive skin rewards etc similar to the setup they have with twitch.

Would love to hear peoples thoughts on this idea!

    @MandatoryIDtag The train of thought is good, but the premium sub feels off.

    Game = free
    Seeing stats = free
    App = money

    ‘Wait what? So I don’t have to pay to play the game, but pay to use a dedicated app just to see stats and use a LFG based off of them?’ would be my attitude towards it. Nope, not doing that.

    Being able to see your stats has been a stable in most, if not almost all (competitive) pvp shooters since when you know... paying just to see your stats sounds...

    Hmmm wait, totally forgot. It’s an EA subsidiary we’re talking about. So it sounds as something they might actually do XD. I was gonna say ‘sounds just wrong to do’...

    If they made a ‘premium’ apex tho. People who pay play on improved servers, get a skin (depending if it’s a 1-time payment or sub, you get one or one each month or something) and get the dedicated app/trackers (something that non-payers don’t get), that I could see actually working.

    Just my thoughts tho

    @Koochi-Q  Figured if i mentioned a potential profit margain the idea might make it past the forum rofl. 😉

    Also the app itself wouldve been free running on my idea, the subscription would've been for access to the exclusive skins etc plus whatever content filler that got added to the app. 😛

    @MandatoryIDtag I’m def not aversed to them making money. It has to be justified tho :P

    Lolz we’ve already seen how adding some stuff screws with getting stuff... how badly would getting exclusive skins from an app turn out for the game :P
    And like I said... it’s a subsidiary of EA... they will in some way charge money for the app XD. Probably with the mindset ‘we made this app, which is an extra feature and cost extra manhours, so a monetary contribution is more than fair’ :P
