Re: BUFF REV

If you played other games when characters or cards (like in yu gi oh master duel) can do so much so easily, You will realize that there is silence & negate abilities in almost every one of them. Literally every other competitive game has this, COD has EMP (Which can partially stop you from using equipment) and map scrambles. Overwatch and valorant have characters that can negate abilities, And even in freaking master duel negating your opponent is a core priority. This is where its gets very funny though, Literally out of all those games apex legends need silence negates the most. Back in time when rev got released you see way less abilities, Now the game has (evolved?) to become very ability reliant. Wouldnt it be logical if there was someone who could slow the pace a bit and make players actually play a shooter game instead of abilities monopoly game?

I never played Rev and I don't ever remember having any difficulty playing against him, in any guise, so I'm perfectly content to let his tac/ult be whatever the Rev mains want it to be.

As far as slowing the pace and preferring shooting to abilities-based engagement... I'm not sure the make up of one single legend will have any meaningful impact here, except perhaps for the individual rev main. If you want to do something meaningful to put gunplay front and center and force abilities into the back seat where they used to be, then we would need to ask Respawn to lengthen cool downs again and remove pickups that shorten them. And, in my humble opinion, the shorter cooldowns are just a small part of the overall push for speed in the game. Shorter cooldowns plus Octane and Axle plus all the other legends who now have some sort of temporary speed boost, plus all the speed boosting nonsense that used to go on in  Wildcard (and I'm pretty sure still does) and before you know it the game is just one big blur. Respawn used to have a use for battlefield legibility. Now I guess they're just assuming we're all so hopped up on Adderall that we possess the ability to stop time.

I don't know. I've never really had much good to say about the weapon mechanics in this game, though they have become less frustrating over time. So pleas for front-and-center gunplay are not necessarily gonna land with me. I don't know if we have the right balance currently between bullets and gimmicks, but I'd be a lot less dependent on my abilities if I thought I could actually rely on any gun in this entire game to do what it's supposed to do in a reliable and predictable way. And just when I think that maybe we're getting there I end up in a shoot out with some smurf who can use a scope-free 301 to beam me over a distance where I can barely sight in my 4x tripletake. These are the kinds of experiences that make me hesitant to give up my abilities or my lightning-fast recharges.

Nah he's right tho, I'm a main Rev and trust me, it's way better seeing ppl fighting you 1v1 with weapons instead relying on the skills to kill opponents.

OG rev would be good against ppl who cant stop camping and spamming. Maybe a slow paced rhythm isn't that bad, we actually don't have anything to counter that.

The game ain't equal anymore when you simply have a legend that outruns every other legends even nerfed and they simply removed revenant's ability just to toss it on seer which is a recon legend, it doesn't make any sense. He has enough abilities and they don't even bother to remove his silence skill that used to be part of revs kit.

Tell me.. how many legends do you have in this game that have a skill to jump, slide, fly and escape most of the time.

Exactly... we have octane, loba, Pathfinder, sparrow, ash, axle, horizon... Like I bet I'm not the only one seeing this.

The problem is that they lack creativity when it comes to rework

Look at bloodhound rework, completely destroyed her, they did the same with fuse ultimate but lemme tell that even if they did a rework on them they still let their whole main kit be part of the legend

Now if you take a look at rev, he completely lost his skills, except the passive ones.

They could do the rework on him, but not they way they did... Now we have a generic jump that take loads to charge up or you  jump like a you're crippled. His ultimate is not that great anymore, his shield is basically water.

What I'm saying is they should have left the silence and they should have added something different to his old ultimate.

Revenant is the assassin in this game even climbing is terrible, it's glitchy most of the time and his jump sometimes do a rollback mid air, it's do stupid. So generic every single detail about him is just like a spamming legend.

Apex is literally about spamming skills and the shooting part is gone and trust most of the player who shoot the others half across the map with a "perfect" aim and recoil is not a legit player.
