I am sure dropping hot is the worst advice anyone can give a new player. Were you telling them that movement is important, positioning etc, I'd agree.

@Vdstrk I don't suggest people do anything outside their comfort zone. Nor would I tell any new player to drop there. After hitting level 25 to 30 ish most have the basic understandings of the game and how its played. So from there is where I see many hot dropping to me and trying to improve.

Even Shroud stated that dropping hot is a bad strat.

I said he does not play apex to even know the new apex. I have seen him play few games in that time trying new things out in the season rarely. That link is when apex first came out shortly after. It does not speak for today's apex. Wasn't you just getting on about people listening to streamers? Let alone one who does not even play apex anymore and had that information going on 2 years ago? I can understand a apex streamer who actually plays apex give advice before someone who does not touch the game and has outdated information.

Since then the hot drop bad advice hasn't changed at all. So yeah, that article is still very relevant today.... as it was at launch.
But I see you disagree. That is ok...Oh, and just bare with me... if you scroll down in that article, there is another article about shroud disliking Valk..... I guess he plays it sometimes, maybe not on stream? who kows...I do not watch much shroud anyways....
