Playerbase splits are no good, it can make the queues awful for love/hate experimental ltms. There's also more live support needed when more modes are simultaneously available. Gameplay is the almost the same, I really don't see what is forcing me to play in a different manner. A cluster of care packages? A different shape of the ring? I would understand if these LTMs would be like Armed & Dangerous or Dummie's Day, but they're not. Besides, players voted in favor of takeovers in the few polls that I've seen, so...

@DoYaSeeMe I never saw a difference in queue time when ltms were optional.
- 5 years ago@hayhor Well, I did see a difference in a few, even though I'm on one of the busiest data centers, Frankfurt. And it's not just that. Before queue times increase, SBMM gets ineffective, as the pool of players is thinned out and there are higher chances of getting high ping players in the lobby or getting into a more distant match server.
Personally, I wouldn't mind the LTMs to be separate, but in that case I would want them to be more extreme, to the likes of Winter Express, A&D or Shadowfall. But most of these had issues towards their final days, a lot of leavers, same players in the lobby, teamers, cheaters, etc..
