Has anyone noticed in Apex, when using a new profile with the same setup as your old profile that hits knocks and kills seem to be greater. Apart from appearing as a beginner to others and dealing with all the negative assumptions that come with this change e.g high ranked players quitting when knocked or just being ignored when pinging health issues (I feel I need to say here I dont care for gamer stats as much as others) I feel this change has had an overall positive effect on my game. What might cause this? I play the same way in all game modes and I'm more accurate each time I switch to my new profile. This is noticed across all characters. Remember I use the same in game settings. I do appear to have the same bugs that are still associated with my older profile. So I'm wondering apart from game bugs we are aware of is there some sort of residual impact on profiles overtime I'm not aware of? Any insights a plus please.

@apostolateofDOOM That's because the time spent in the game is probably one of the variables used for SBMM. The difference between new and veteran players was pretty obvious in KC@Night LTM and is a good reason for the old map to come back only in the second half of Season 4. My guess is that KC will be available for casual play from the start, to allow new players to get used to it before grinding for RP, but the SBMM will try to prevent players that joined only in Season 3 from getting destroyed by Old Skull Veterans.

The matchmaking in Apex has been thought by many to include too large of a range on the high end, pitting average and mediocre players against those far outside their skill tier. For some this is a game breaking flaw. For others this establishes a challenge to improve to keep up.It should be stated that smurfing is generally frowned upon, as it creates an unfair environment for new players. With that being said though, even on a new account, if you play at the same level of skill, the matchmaking system will be sorting you into the same lobbies as your old account in fairly short order.

@evandave34Do you mean when you enter normal matches after SBMM has taken effect you do better with a newer account?Edit: As if something maybe hinders your play on the old acc?

@apostolateofDOOM I don't see how... Maybe older account legends wear more legendary skins and come with more quips and finishers, so there's extra stuff to load in the match for them... but I highly doubt that can cause a notable issue.

@blkarmphoenix None of that. I just want to play. I dont want to loose progress on my main account as it doesnt make sense. I play which ever mode accepts me faster. That's what I do. Ranked or not. Apex are not fixing issues. I play while unable to holster. Amongst other things.Try that for a year or more. All the bugs came out when I got fiber, as in i notice them more. If I create a new a profile in the hope it resets something, it's what I need to do. If someone is better than me they prove it. Im perfectly happy dropping a gun for a respawn or giving up self rez to a more experienced player in the hope he remembers my gesture. It pays off too. I just feel the game is broken somehow. I dont play premade teams as I prefer the flexibility and I'm often surprised. This is a better way for me to understand my "level". Any one can pair up with great players and hit top ranked faster or more consistently. Why bother I say? Thats my rant. Thanks anyway

@evandave34 not gonna lie, I had a hard time understanding where you stand with the game or even what the point you're trying to get across is...

But if I take a crack at it, you don't think putting you in a place that is difficult even though it's based on your skill level is much fun/fair/ or welcoming?? If so, eh, you won't get far on skill only downing and going against "fresh" players.

@evandave34 This thread is a bit confusing but if I understand correctly..

Example - Lets say you have 2 two accounts, one 6 months old and another lets say 6 weeks. You are getting put into lobbies with predators as champions and the general pool of players on both (not noob lobbies) but perform better with the newer account as your main appears bugged somehow?

If that's the case then i don't actually know why but it isn't the first time hearing this. Perhaps @DoYaSeeMe (there might be others well qualified to answer he's just the first person that comes to mind with dev experience) can shed some light on possible causes.

OR, Reasons explained above by others - When you create a another account you're put into lobbies with new players which gives anyone creating an alt acc/smurf an advantage and will inevitably lead to better stats.

Since you have no experience or little experience on the new account, you will be pit against other fresh plays/low skilled players in order to even the playing field for everyone as to avoid being dumped on by a player with hours on top of hours of experience.

Hence it's easier to acquire kills which makes it unfair for players who don't really have that high skill to go against you.

With SBMM in the game, it will be harder to get those easy kills since you'll most likely be matched with players around or above your skill set.

With a better understanding of the OP, the answer to your question @evandave34 is: Yes.

@iBlockHeadMaybe in this case OP was referring to SBMM but I have heard it mentioned that people who have numerous accounts say it's smoother on a newer one and that something is wrong with their main.

actually i noticed that playing on new account is really feels smoother , i used to have an issue while turning left and right and moment feels sluggish.
regarding the easy kills easy knocks am not going to talk about it as its not the main subject for me but i will tell you how my game got fixed, you just delete and download the game again.
doing that really made the game feels better and smoother , i think the issue is with the amount of updated maybe some of the files get squeezed in or updates was creating gaps in the file sequence ...i don't know you name it whatever you want but that is how my game got fixed
try it and see if it will work for you and give us a your feed back please
