Once You Reach Gold, You Should Never Get Demoted to Bronze

I don't play ranked much - I get to Gold and then go back to pubs - but I hate grinding out of Bronze. Took me four hours yesterday to get from my demoted rank of Bronze III (from Gold IV) to Silver IV. I'd say about one in three of my TMs actually knew how to play the game. Took me three games to get the final 17 points thanks to terrible TMs. In the end I got lucky with a hot-drop and got two elims within a minute using a Sentinel as a shotgun. My TMs were both knocked and I was when battling the final squaddie with an Alternator.

Demotion should never been greater than a single tier. Your reward for at least reaching Gold is never having to experience the tediousness of Bronze again.

  • Yeah good luck with this one guys.

Respawns super happy with their heavily flawed rank system, we're all just being whiny freeloaders as usual. ;p

@bosourdI think right now you're probably right. But give it another 5-6 days and the campers start creeping their way into Platinum. Once they reach platinum it becomes nearly impossible to gain RP.

I'm not talking about the people who are 2vs3 the entire match and need to camp.. More so the people who simply do not have the skill for the top lobbies. First unavoidable fight they get into they get downed and they struggle to break even 200 damage... It makes grinding ranked with randoms in the higher tier lobbies nearly impossible.

The point of it is to encourage people to 'stay' because feeding them easy kills for a few days makes people think they're * awesome, when instead it's just * matchmaking.

Sucks if you legit play at that level lawl enjoy the instagibs

@Zamaha400 Sure if they keep placement RP the same as it is. But if placement RP was a KP Multiplier it wouldn't.
