ONLY WHITE SHIELDS ON ROUND 1
There shouldn't be any purple shields on landing on map...shield should only upgrade shield with damage dealt or switching once the other person is killed. Everyone should start with white shields....

@qp3vyhn7nol2 Ok so you are all in in that you need to fight to get anything. This would result in the game playing even worse. There would be no reason to drop alone and loot. Hot dropping would become even more of a thing.
Part of BR is looting. And part of that looting is luck. There are many ways to avoid someone you land with getting a better shield-
1 - Land uncontested and loot a POI. You are likely to find something.
2 - If you do not find anything, craft your shield to blue. There are multiple crafters. If I know my teammate has landed me miles from teams and I have white I do not run past a crafter without going to blue.
3 - Play Loba. You can see the best loot as you drop.
