The only difference in the hitbox as far as I can tell from testing is the two parts of the legs which I've ringed in the left hand image (which were MINISCULE) have been plugged. Interestingly there's a new hole in exactly the same part of the leg but on the front of the leg, which is even smaller - but it's there for the sake of full disclosure.
The larger models still use the same hitbox, so the fundamental problem is exactly the same. The models still dont take hits on the pylons etc just as before (not should they, these elements should be removed).
The hitbox is essentially identical :D And look how much less complaining there's been about it just because they've said 'we've fixed it' :D
I said it here on the forums a slew of times. Many very good players play Pathfinder for best the best Q in the game. And when average andy's get owned, they scapegoat the hitbox to maintain an overinflated sense of self.
It's easier than admitting you're trash, and need to step up your game.

In S2 also my skills got a update!
We got some AMAZING programmers over there rofl.
I can shoot pathfinder now NOT because they changed something with the hitbox but they gave my skills an update.
But somehow im not able to hit other legends more accurate.
In the patchnotes they say they adressed something in pathfinders hitbox that should fix problems with hitting him.
Updated the hit box to better conform with the base model.
I guess they din't change a thing., I just stepped up my game the exact moment S2 launched.
Because that makes a lot more sense!
And i was playing in gold since day 2.
So the chances of me running into good pathfinders was way higher then before S2.
it din't even matter if the pathfinder was good or not. Everybody can walk around.
I could not lazer them before, But i can now!

@DaAceXDYour skills didn't get an update - it's just before when you missed a pathfinder you would scream "HITBOX HITBOX HITBOX" and now that you're choosing not to do that - the hitbox is magically 100% better even though they've changed barely anything :D
Hitting for 5% more means that whenever a pathfinder would have escaped with 5% health or less, he doesn't - he's dead. It means everytime you run into a pathfinder who has been shot by someone else - he's weaker than he would have been before this passive existed.
Of course more pathfinders are dying, because whether we're good players, crap players or middle of the road - we take more damage.Basically players who would have cried about not getting enough hits on Pathfinder are being bribed into ignoring that this issue isn't actually fixed. I've got the fatboi twitch prime skin for Path and I ran it for a day to see how much more successful I was. In gold ranked at the time when barely anyone had gotten to gold, it was a marginal difference. In normal apex vs the full range of players : it was a huge difference and presented a clear advantage over the model that the hitbox is built to.

The incoming damage debuff was balls frankly, people wanted an accurately reflected pathfinder hitbox. I do think its more than just a placebo after viewing a number of clips showing his lack of hit registration and having issues of my own. This does seem to have died down so they must have fixed it in more than just a minor way.

1# Im chosing to hit them now? This isn't the matrix lol.
I chose to hit them a long time ago but i din't.
if only things in life where so easy huh?
2# never claimed it to be 100% better, And its not magically there is a lot of technical stuff going on that may seem like magic to you.
But i can assure you its not.
3# How do you know they barely changed anything? Unless they released a technical report on what they did change ( No your playdough pictures are not a good technical report. )
They lack latency issues, movement issues, skin issues. AND its only from the front no the sides or in a angle.
4# Never screamed HITBOX HITBOX HITBOX. When i missed a pathfinder i should have hit.
Why do you make up stuff im thinking and saying?
it makes the arguments a bit weird..
Hitting for 5% more means that whenever a pathfinder would have escaped with 5% health or less, he doesn't - he's dead. It means everytime you run into a pathfinder who has been shot by someone else - he's weaker than he would have been before this passive existed.

- I din't talk about killing them but about hitting them. There is a HUGE difference.

- So your just assuming no one is playing against pathfinders with the huge skins?
In the patchnotes they even announced that they are going to check on the big skins and change things if that is neccesary.
So we are not getting bribed into anything.

@DaAceXDIf you're not going to read, I'm not going to dignify you with any replies :/ I didn't say you're now choosing to hit the character, I said you're now choosing to not blame the hitbox when you miss, hence my original comment about it being a placebo effect.
Repeating the word technical doesn't make what you're saying more reliable :/ The image I posted was just a map of where you can go into game with your friend and shoot to see if you get hits. You said earlier in the thread you've done this so I'm shocked that you can suddenly announce to the world that the hitbox is good when it's essentially not changed whilst the character is stationary.
So, you can follow the same instructions I gave earlier and see that the hitbox is near identical whilst the character is stationary. And your 'personal experience' evidence is met by my 'personal experience' evidence. You say it's a lot easier for you to hit Pathfinder now, I say it hasn't changed.
The difference is - what I say is backed up by something we can measure.
