Pathfinder isn't Really Recon Right Now

Pathfinder's true super power is in his positive attitude and great quips.
"I love you too, but I'm not IN love with you."
"You say thank you in a strange way, but I still understand."
"I may be smiling, but that also means I'm happy."
and, of course:
"* off, scablander."
In short, I've grown tired of numbering the many slights he's suffered at the hands of Respawn, and have come to embrace the true power of the grapple. It is all that I need. With it I will dominate the world. Or at least the scrub lobbies where I hang out. Long live Pathfinder.

They could nerf something and add some sort of recon ability, but I don't think any Path mains would want that. If you add something to his kit, he could be too good. He might just be in a good place rn, in terms of overall value of what his skills provide.
A good Pathfinder is the most annoying to fight in the game. You hit him... zoom, he's gone. He hits you mid-range, bam, he's insta on top of you. A **** Pathfinder player however is like... can't you just play someone cringe, like Valk, instead, bro?
Pathfinder i feel is in a good place right now in terms of balancing. He can pop a zip shoot in one direction. Scan and pop another zip in another location then wait for circle to close to place final zip if it is needed for all types of different rotations/escapes. His grapple still takes him quite far for many advantages over other legends. Being able to scan is big also in ranked.
