Watching apocalypse now was more boring than camping but at least I didn’t get a penalty when I left early.
AS IF....
...the problem was the Pathfinder 'nerf' with the assumption of that if Pathfinder were 'still good' people should be dropping $20 for a skin.
Sorry, the problem has nothing to do with your Pathfinder nerf whatsoever. It has to do with that any skin for a slew of games are priced at stupid high levels. And coming with things that don't matter like charms and whatever else is going on.
You already pay the price of a full video game per year if you buy the Battle Pass for this game, and when it comes to dropping another $20 on a character you like, the problem is that completely. Even if Pathfinder was the most broke, awesome, 1 sec only cooldown character in the game right now.
The Pathfinder skin is cool, but why a skin for the Havoc? lol I haven't used the Havoc in a year since the days it had the Turbocharger hopup...since before Season 2. So far the only "Edition" that has combined a cool skin with a weapon I use is Lifeline with the Flatline skin. Not surprisingly the Lifeliine Edition is the only one I've bought.
@KelRiever due to the lack of an @playername i can only assume this is directed at me lol.
I play pathfinder once in a blue moon so in no way is this "my" pathfinder nerf lol.
I've observed countless pathfinder players rambo every fight they see, as have many other players. We then see a heavy nerf and a physical edition release depicting a skin eerily similar to rambo's outfit.
It's merely an observation made in jest. 😉
- @KelRiever I think the price is fine as long as you like the Havoc. Two legendary skins plus $10 AC back is a great deal compared to anything else in the game. Especially if you compare it to the "heirloom events" lol. Even on the store, a single Legendary often costs $18
@MandatoryIDtag Oh, lol! Sorry it was not directed at you! Actually kind of directed at everyone, us all.
This game, right, the nerfing, I get it...we're going to maybe agree or disagree on that but whatever.
But I want to really point out that the prices of this game are the DUMBEST! And they're dumb for Fortnite too, and a host of other games that charge $20 for a skin, free to play or not...because Battle Pass is the price of the game, let's not fool ourselves.
Yet, that is what apparently people won't talk about, the main problem with these packs. $20 for a skin, $30...I remember Fortnite trying to sell a Catwoman skin for 'ONLY A WEEK' at $40...seriously at that point they can go F themselves.
@KelRiever It's all good haha.
Yeah i get it completely bud, honestly speaking i'm part of the problem as i'm what's referred to as a whale(heavy spender).
But i mean i have enough disposable income to do this and it not impact me in the slightest. That doesn't detract from the fact that the skins are indeed expensive, and if you've got a low income job or maybe a family to feed you're basically frozen out of these purchases which is a shame really.
I understand that the game is a product released by a business, and that they need to make a healthy profit....but surely they can still do so with slightly reduced prices?
Even throwing the occasional apex coin sale here and there would probably be a bit more reasonable. 😛
It is a shame that not all can afford $20 for a single skin if money is tight. Seeing as they are only temporary rather than buying real life items that have longevity.
They should have something extra that goes along with it to lessen the idea. An example would be when purchasing a skin it would come with 300 extra crafting metals. That way if one does buy a couple they can save up for another. Kinda like a buy 4 get 1 free type of deal. Something to that effect.
@ColdHours Kinda like the current bundles yeah, except they're still pretty expensive.
Yes you save money compared to buying the items separately...but 3000ish coins is still a lot for a couple of skins.
Doubtless to say we'll never see an amendment in skin pricing though unless profits drop substantially.
- @ColdHours Lolz the real items I buy have a shorter shelf life than 2 full-on Apes matches in most cases, as like to buy food XD. Investing in Apex would have made more sense... despite that, I still did no apex spending except for BP and all the fast food & other eatingz because it’s way tastier and fun :P
