- @blizpr Both have it. PC is a lower setting. Console players can play on PC setting.
Yeah but that does prove my point doesnt it have to be the same when i plug a controller on pc
No. There is a variable in the coding for aim assist. On PC that value is .4, and on console it is .6. Console has stronger aim assist than PC, with lower FPS being the reason given.
- @blizpr PC player on 60 fps= shut up and play(which is fine, I shouldn't be given any advantage because I can't afford high end PC)
Console player on 60 fps= yeah guys, give them lil extra ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ - @BaldWraithSimp I know you're kinda joking, but that line of thinking goes south fast. One poster once argued with me that scuf controllers should not be allowed because the default PS4 controller doesn't have paddles. My reply, following his logic, was that I have a crappy TV, so no one else should be allowed to use a better one, giving them an unfair advantage over me.
- @pandareno1999 XD that was a perfect reply
Respawn should decide to have consistent level of controller aim assist across all platforms.
@Cheese9Man I think this is going to be what happens and needs to happen. It seems weird to me that when talking to someone about aim assist you have to mention what platform you are using. I don't remember another game with crossplay where one platform had stronger aim assist than another. I've played both console and pc with controller and the 0.6 aim assist on console is crazy strong and you can definitely tell the difference from 0.4 to 0.6.
If they could get the console version of APEX running @ the SAME FPS as PC this would all be resolved.
- @Cheese9Man am fine with removing the aim assist completely, also remove PC players ability to flick turn, and loot while moving also lock their FPS to 60 ......then it's considered fair
