Peacekeeper keeps you in check

'Instead of full auto meta you have peacekeeper meta. That's... better?
And I disagree that it stops spray and pray. It actually rewards it. Jump around like a lunatic and shoot your shotgun wildly, you only need 2 good hits to get anyone down, no matter what they have. I've killed people that way and I'm not that good.'

I've seen this sort of thing said a lot round here...but it just isn't true is it?! I swear people just need to conjure demons to hunt. On multiple occasions I've landed head/torso spreads within approx. 10m ranges, landing a full magazine of hits and not even getting a knockdown. Sure, the Peacekeeper has arguably OP qualities when the hop-up is attached, and that may need to be dialled back a bit, but it's also what keeps it balanced against the EVA - without the hop-up I'd rather have the EVA quite frankly so I can keep pulling the trigger on bouncy-bouncy shield-soaks in CQB.

...and, to be clear, yes, of course many people are going to fall back on shot guns in this game to get consistent, albeit relatively low results. The sheer speed of combat in this game plus the relatively insane character agility and freedom makes it very hard to consistently land bullets on target unless you're a mutant or cheating.
