Peacekeeper still OP.
Why you dont even nerf the peacekeeper? Wingman is okay now, but the peacekeeper ruins the game. EVERY ONE IS PLAYING IT, cause they know its OP af. This game getting boring af, cause there are no mo...
Peacekeeper is average at best, even at very close range. At anything more than super close, it becomes extremely bad against any legend that is not the fatty Gribraltar.
I really can't remember the last time I 2-shotted a wraith, even when I was right in her face (blue+ armor ofc). I've done single-mag kills plenty of times with R99. I would even rather have an R301 in CQC than PK.
PK is somewhat equal to R99 vs Gribraltar, but R99 wins out very decisively against any of the smaller legends. So does any AR, for that matter.
If you can't down some1 with 1 mag of AR/SMG, then you most definitely won't 2-shot anyone with PK either.
P.S. The choke is kind of just for trolling (or when you don't have any alternatives) - you're not going to win any mid-long range fights with that long charge time.
If peacekeeper got any more nerfs, it would go down a tier and would only compete with the likes of alternator, which would be a pity. A game where end-game weapons were all fast-firing full-auto weapons would be extremely dull and boring. It's nice to have variety, even if the best weapons are still the SMG's.
P.P.S. I wonder, what are the ppl who say that PK is OP are playing? I would guess they main 1 of the fatties (gribraltar, pathfinder, caustic). In those cases, the AR's/SMG's are as good as PK against them, but ppl that have trouble controlling recoil would have more success with a PK and a skewed view may form that PK is "better" than other weapons, when in fact it's just easier to use vs underpowered legends. The fatties will get buffed eventually. And even if PK stays somewhat more reliable weapon vs them, I would say that would be good - it actually adds even more depth to the game.
I think the main argument for the pk being op is it's ease of use...the r-99 does like 10dmg with and 18 round clip. So youd better land every single one of those shots or your screwed against an equally skilled player with a pk...this is assuming your both Max kitted. Early game the shotties are just broken and it's kinda ridiculous...3 kills with 300 dmg in 6 shots taking 2s with a body size reticle at 10m is kinda dumb.
I feel most ppl have a problem with the shotties early game...no shield the pk is a 1 body tap...2 shots from an Eva with a purple barrel mod is so quick it's ridiculous...the Eva is literally the AA-12 of cod and that gun was broken...
Ars don't get rewarded for half accurate shots...
Shotties deal massive burst dmg on half accurate shots...meaning if only half of you hip fire reticle is on the enemy you can still get 50dmg...if half is on there head it's 80dmg and your dead with a punch. In a game with early game madness such as this where ppl are scrambling through houses to literally run into each other rounding corners...that single "oh crap" didn't aim trigger pull can kill the enemy...if you got any other gun it's a "oh crap" 10 trigger pulls with a p2020 or 3 with a Mozzy or 10 with a 45 or 10 with an alt or 9 with r99 or 7 with a 301 or 5 with a spitfire or 6 with a devotion ( dead before it even shoots).
It's my opinion the early game kills it
I'd wager over 2/3 of the kills so far in apex legends across all platforms have involved a shotty
