It's getting way more common to either start a game missing 1 or 2 people. Or if you are lucky to get a full squad the first time someone is knocked or finished they leave before being revived or reopened. We need to start penalizing these people againEdit: after writing this the next game my 3rd teammate up and quits shortly after dropping in, wasnt knocked just flat out quit

Game needs matchmaking. I don't' like playing with low lvl low skill players, I'm going to start quitting early more often if I see that I have been matched with them.

Jumpmaster piledrive the team into 20 dudes, dies 4 seconds after landing, spend the next 15 seconds cussing us out on voip and then when you finally find a gun to save this ungratefull shitbird he leaves. This is pretty much my average game with randoms.I would love for there to be a mechanic that shows leavers the outcome of winning games they have left, with a little * you message courtesy of the rest of the team.

They shouldn't add time penalty but what they should add is; If you leave the game early (Before full squad wipe or losing your banner), game should not count kills, damages, XPs or anything. So kill farmers can no longer do "hot jump > get 3 kill > down > leave > repeat" bulls**t.

A time penalty wont do anything, maybe a health reduction or maybe ammo/mag reduction

That would not work for me. If I do not want to continue playing with that team then I won’t. Your proposal would create some new challenges that some people would like. If you drop hot with me, the moment I am down I am out. Dropping hot is about getting kills not winning as a team. Of course the young ones think this is some kind of winning strategy. This is just one scenario, I have a few more scenarios in which you can not force me to play with you.

I am going to take a guess and say it is the know it all attitude that gets you playing by yourself alot. You can not force people to play with you but you can be a good teammate and they might choose to stay.

Look buddy if my teammates are right around me and they don't go and kill the enemy before they thirst me and turn me into a box then I'm leaving, simple as that.
The reason why i play apex over league of legends is if i get a bad team I can just leave and not be stuck in a game for 20-30 minutes watching monkies in clown suits die over and over.
No penalties, stop being a baby. Queue up for the next game.
