Re: What to do if your Apex Legends account got banned or suspended
Hello,
I am reaching out because I have been unable to get any response regarding my permanent Apex Legends ban.
Timeline:
- May 22, 2026: Account permanently banned for "Gameplay Emulation"
- June 9, 2026: Submitted ban appeal (Case #248619530)
- June 9, 2026: Received automated case confirmation email
- June 15, 2026: Submitted additional information via the contact form regarding the likely cause
- Today: Still no response from a human agent, over 2 weeks since the original appeal
I have never used any cheats, macros, scripts, bots, or third-party software. I have never used account sharing or boosting services.
I believe the "Gameplay Emulation" flag may have been triggered because I was playing through NVIDIA GeForce NOW, an officially supported cloud gaming service for Apex Legends. The cloud streaming technology used by GeForce NOW may have been misidentified by the anti-cheat system as emulation, even though it is not a cheat or unauthorized software.
I have also tried EA Help live chat multiple times, but the AI chat keeps redirecting me back to the appeal page without connecting me to a human agent, even after following the suggested workarounds.
Could a Community Manager or EA staff member please help escalate this case for manual review? I would appreciate any update on the status of Case #248619530.
Thank you for your time.
