Personal Thoughts on S10 so far

I'm bored, mostly, so far.  It's been one day but it sort of looks like nothing exciting coming.

Anyway, some thoughts.

Seer just breaks so much of what was good about Apex, notably moving and hiding.  Just let everyone know where everyone is all the time if you're going to introduce Seer, and then work on a more interesting character.

And the EVA, I don't want it nerfed at all.  But what I do want is all guns to do more damage.  More. Damage. = Better game.....but not if you're going to add Seer, so I really can't comment.  Seer pretty much helps the game become less interesting.

Oh, and yeah, World's Edge, snore.  I mean the very best iteration of WE was the first, and imo was the best map of them all.  Maybe original Olympus competes.  The map upgrades are just not doing it.

I predict, over time, character use attrition in the name of chasing $$$.  That they haven't done anything to buff defensive characters just screams more dull on Respawns part, and I really think they don't care.  Character cycling for power is a sure fire way to indicate a development team gave up, and this one to me has.  You simply can't add a character every season and keep up so yeah, that's why all the excuses that Wattson is fine, for example.   Basically saying 'We can't balance anything anymore so it's all 'fine' ' :P

Did I quit Apex yet? No.  But I can tell you I will continue to afk, abandon and just box myself in games, ranked or otherwise, that fail to keep my interest.  Because that's how you deal with Apex, apparently.  And I'm not spending money because I know it will become a waste.  I'm here for the free stuff now.
