Plat 4

Just a few observations, reached P4 a week ago, and the numbers (give or take) were sitting at .8% of players in said rank, ranks above P4 were nonexistent. Fast forward to this day, and P4 is now sitting at 3%, but with the same empty ranks above P4.

There’s not enough diversity in players once you hit Plat, I get the same Pred pre-stacks game after game.

I don’t see this being an issue in lower ranks, hence making the climb bearable, but higher end lobbies is where I’m lingering for now.

It’s been 2.5 weeks, that’s not a typical time frame for ranks to settle, way longer than it should be, thinking this first split might be a scratch off.

@Gabrielmojo26 It's what everyone wanted. Keep the bad players down in their proper rank 🙃

I said it previously- The bad players that made it up to better levels were fodder for better players. For every random bad teammate there are many more random bad enemies you can kill.

No one seems to remember that they made achieving diamond and masters easier so that the queues would fill faster.

@Gabrielmojo26 If they are going to keep this system in the state that it is right now they should remove the split. It takes longer for high skill people to get their deserved ranks because of how the system works, the grind is much bigger. Eventually the ranks will stabilize and it will be easier to climb, but it will take longer than it did in previous seasons.

@Tad844 Got demoted to G1 as of late, minus 355 RP, a handful of games, and i’m now 30ish RP away from being back in Plat.

The skill gap is ridiculous once you hit Plat, it goes from an easy 5+ kills in gold, to make one mistake in Plat and you get ape’d by 3 teams just waiting to 3rd.

@Gabrielmojo26I'll be lucky to make G1 this split lol. Had a rough session last night in S4. They keep giving me Rookies & Bronze 3 or 4 players as tms.

@Lord_Scorpion34I've been hearing that preds are complaining that they're facing too many Plat players, and not getting enough KP because of it, considering it's less KP for a lower rank kill.

It's clear to me now, that ranks aren't moving fast enough, especially in higher tiers, I've been facing the same pro players all weekend.
I've dabbled with pubs duo, it's alright, but I like having an end goal in sight, rank gives me that accomplishment. Pubs is very dependent on your random teammate if not pre-stacked, 90% of them leave right away, this is nothing new, and kills the experience for me.
I will say tho, I'm definitely getting better teammates in Plat, very like minded goals/rotations/engagements, but even with that taken into consideration, I still can't communicate in game chat, mics still don't work on new gen Xbox, and even if they did, my Plat 3 & 4 team realistically can't take on a pred- pre-stack.

@Gabrielmojo26 the current rank score on apex tracker shows an interesting stack of players in plat, esp plat 3.

I too like a goal, so thats Wraith top 3 finishes in my country I'm chasing in pubs.
