Please HELP! Hacked.
When I logged in on PS5 at around 7pm Japan time on June 1, I got 'You are logging in on a different device'. I was able to log in and play until 6pm, but an hour later I was unable to play. I am only logged in on PS5. I had a friend check my logged in information and found that someone else had logged in to my account and was playing. I also took a picture of it.I logged into my EA account to check it and found that the PS5 that was tied to my account was also disconnected. I tried to link it back, but I was told "We are unable to process the link because it is already linked to <removed>." I don't have this address in mind. I have no idea who this address is. I want my account back. I am sad to think that if my account is suspended, I will lose the many skins I have bought and the characters I have developed. What should I do? I am also worried that my registered credit card may have been used. Please help me.
As of 23:30 Japan time on June 2, I was able to log in. However, the skins, banners, and many other things had changed. I was also friended with someone I don't know. It is really weird and scary. I just logged in and immediately deleted my credit card information. But after all, the person who was logging in illegally is not logging in now, so I was able to get in, and I am afraid that he will log in again. What should I do? I am really scared.
On June 3, I finally got a call that I've been permanently blocked, I've contacted EA help, but will they take care of it? I am not a predator and I am not highly ranked to begin with, why did they steal my account?
if you are worried about the credit card being compromised you need to contact your bank about that as well as the local authorities.
