@DarthValtrex the voting polls that numberous peope have put up shows a strong dislike for this SBMM system. Its not about "owning noobs" its about playing the game and relaxing. If i wanted to play where i had everyone at my skill lvl i would go sweat in rank mode.

@RipjawsAU-TTV It is about owning noobs because you want an easy lobby. You don’t want a lobby of equally skilled players. You’re all complaining that it’s to hard and to sweaty. So if it’s not the difficulty of SBMM and you don’t want to bash noobs what’s the issue?!
From there your polls don’t mean a thing. Most players don’t know what SBMM is, if they do they don’t know or care about the polls. Toss in that most of you who hate SBMM are already smurfing accounts.. so you’ll probably smurf accounts to sway the poll and tell all your like minded buddies to vote in the poll. They are not scientific polls that only allow one vote per person.

i’ve already explained that your poll is not an accurate reflection of the player base.
if EA wants to do a poll they would need to do a controlled sampling of various skill levels.

You seem to always come back with the same arguments, but never want to understand what’s thrown at you, so lets just adhere to your point of views.
Here’s my opinion on players like you;
You want a game tailored to your mediocre style of play, you don’t want to improve by playing against better players since you only want to casually linger with noobs for an undisclosed amount of time, and that, for as long as it takes, because it’s safe, stress free, and it reassures you.
You feel better knowing you won’t be faced with Predator, Diamond, or premade squads stacked with both.
You don’t play meta, you don’t rotate, and probably pay no attention to positioning and choke points, cause after all, you’re playing with noobs.
This being your situation, why not utilize the ranked category and just leave casual broken SBMM lobbies all together?
You’d never be matched with higher skilled players because you’d never amount to gaining any points, it’s a win/win for you my friend.@Gabrielmojo26LOL, now come the personal attacks because you have no ground to stand on. It’s comical I’m playing in a diamond lobby right now.. i also play in the higher rank SBMM lobbies with my high skill friends. So no that’s not the issue..
You’re the ones who have an issue playing against people of equal or even better skill. I don’t and often play in lobbies with people above my skill level.it’s the same argument over and over and over again from all the SBMM haters. It’s to hard, it’s to sweaty.. waaaah waaah waah
@DarthValtrexSo pls, entertain me here, in your opinion, why is there a need for both a ranked game play, and a casual with strict SBMM game play that is essentially the same as ranked.
This is the obvious question that not many will answer by simply diverting to "you just wanna noob stomp".

It’s not about owning noobs. I’ve been playing the game since Day 1. I consider myself in the top 25-30% of all Xbox players and now I mainly solo queue. I was confident in 1v1 and 2v1 situations and could get a win every 7-10 games or so with my “solid” games averaging 10-12 kills. When we used to play tournaments with my discord community, it wasn’t uncommon for one of our teams to smack 25-30 kills combined in a lobby.
Now I’m just getting smashed by teams with 25k-50k combined kills, meanwhile Im playing with guys that don’t even have 1.5k kills that are in the meat grinder before they knew what hit’em. And forget a 20 bomb, it was really difficult before and you had to really sweat, but now it’s damn near impossible.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s not that the concept of SBMM is bad, but maybe Respawn just ain’t doing the algorithms right?
I was one of those persons that had no idea that SBMM was ever added to the game. After the first week of its integration, I thought maybe people are just getting better or I was beginning to plateau, or both. But it just got worse and worse the more I played. Eventually I just stopped playing for awhile.
I recently came back a week or two ago and it just doesn’t make any sense that I’m constantly getting partied up with two level 100+ that don’t even have over 1.5k kills on their main, and yet the champion squad in the same match will have over 10k kills each.
Long story short, it feels like SBMM well at the lower skill levels, but once that mark is passed, they just jumble everyone together (possibly mixing a lobby with varying skill levels to reach an acceptable ratio of ok players - to phenoms?). And there is a HUGE difference between a player in the top 10% and the top 25%. If they’re going to make a BR with SBMM, then they need to restrict the parameters of the “skill base” differences. Put top 10% with top 10%, and put top 11%-20% with top 11% - 20%, etc.
It’s not about smashing newbs it’s about not getting smashed as if you’re a newb.- @Zobin911 And sorry for the long reply, just saw that there were more comments about this issue that are similar to mine. It’s time using this so I’m still getting familiar.

@Zobin911I don’t think it's based on the total number of kills they have. It's based on their performance, average damage and so on.
I know some highly skilled players who have under 500 kills on their “main” account. They just don’t play enough to rack up 1500+ kills. Even if they have 20 kill games you’re talking about 100+ matches to hit 1500.
No matter the rank or lobby bad games are going to happen. The only way that won’t happen is if the skill gap is large. You’ll end up in positions that are unfavorable.some might be on the edge or the bottom half of the higher skill lobbies. So it seems like they don’t belong there but they sort of do because they are the top of the lower skill level lobby. I’m in that position right now with platinum. Put me in a gold lobby and I’ll slaughter everything. Platinum, not so much.
Ya this SBMM is garbage. I cant stand playing the last couple weeks, especially if I'm playing solo. I'm low plat, but don't play a ton of ranked. And the last couple weeks I've had some good games, but the vast majority of games, I'm getting lasered, finished and teabagged by predators ranks. If SBMM is legit and balanced, theres no freaking way I should be getting multiple stacked teams of predators in my lobby. I agree with the OP, and unfortunately I feel this game will be considered dead in 6 months when you compare it to what it could have become.
Been playin since launch, really felt like you guys would knock it out of the park with this game and learn from others mistakes. But like other games I've played, one or two specific patches with these crazy * integrations/updates just blows it. GGs everyone. Might check things out next season and see if its any better but my gut tells me it wont be. Probably gonna have the same dang map for another 6 months. Oh, but there's 427 Bangalore skins to choose from! lmao
