Pred Lobbies Hidden MMR

It's likely just a lack of players in your range. Most of the time you'll run into preds after hitting diamond or even high plat. The average player is low plat/high gold so diamonds get the short end of the stick for rank ranges. One game you could see 30 plats and several golds while the next you could see 20 preds and several masters.

I think it's a function of what is in front of match making.  If there isn't many players looking for a game then it will put you up against what is there (preds included).  

The same has happened to me this week (although in pubs, I won't touch ranked.... toxic).  I went from great sessions to just getting smashed every game.  Do what I do. Just play something else.  There is zero you can do about it.  When the lobbies are full of sweats that's what you'll get.  Just let them fight it out amongst themselves an go do something else.  That's the only solution I've found that works.  Getting destroyed game after game is pointless.  Leave them to it

I don't really have a great answer for you.  The MM algorithm can only deal with who is looking for a game.  If it's players above your pay grade that's who you will get.  I've learned to just do something else when that happens.  Let the sweats fight amongst themselves.   Just not worth it.

Respawn already said that the Algorithm priorize speed over anything elses and thats why games start as soon as you get 60 players from the pool it takes. And If you're a solo player like myself the problem are duos, couse more often the not one of them is carrying the other and the system will match them according to the higher level player and so you are already down by 1 by default. 

My problem this season is that im getting duos where both can barely make 100 dmg most of the time, pubs or ranked alike. Its just an awful experience.

I am an EU player and I have a solution for this.

The EU server is playable until about noon (Central European Time). Later (especially in the evening and at night) it is simply a spectacle of cheaters and professionals in 3stacks.

I learned to play in such a way that I play on the EU server until about noon, and then I move to the NA server.

Honestly? Having 130 ping on the NA server, you can definitely see at first glance how the problem of cheating here is much smaller. And with such a ping, I play much more pleasantly - I get more damage and win more games.

I am talking only about pubs and only about the solo queue.

The EU server is one big garbage. After introducing the new matchmaking, this server is simply useless.

Of course, there is a problem with matchmaking here and there - the graph shows that during hours when there are not many players, masters/preds have easy warm-ups on bronze players.

One question arises - how is it possible that at the crisis point last year when we had an average of 70k players on Steam - matchmaking was sometimes even better than now when we have an average of around 130k? I don't know the answer, but maybe you do :)
