Pred lobbies with 400-600 average damage, and 1:1 kda

Matchmaking experience is tailored for newer / low skill / casual players rather than anyone else. Getting put into Predator lobbies after winning a single game is pretty much the norm for most people regardless of stats and overall skill level. This is also partially due to the player-base being on the decline for a while. Lots of people want the current matchmaker to improve, or to be removed altogether. 

I'm at 3.2 K/D, 667 DMG/M, and every game was a Predator / Diamond game for me, and my teammates are always similarly / lower stats than you are, and I mean that with no disrespect. 

It's funny, because during S1 - S2 there was talk about SBMM being formally introduced (even though SBMM has been in game since S2) and the criticisms of people for and against SBMM were as follows: 

Newer Players / Casuals / Low Skill didn't want random lobbies because game population was high and getting stomped by higher skilled players isn't an enjoyable experience.

Higher Skilled / Professional players didn't want SBMM because eventually every match, unranked or ranked, would be equally sweaty and there'd be no way to simply enjoy playing the game both solo or with friends. 

Here we are nearly 3 seasons later, and newer / casual / low skill players are getting put into Predator lobbies and getting stomped because there aren't enough people playing, and high skill / pro players can't enjoy playing the game with their friends nor solo because every match is super try-hard and their friends just can't keep up. Supposedly there are supposed to be improvements coming, but I'm highly skeptical.
